Dear Friend,

Thank you for your inquiry into BUSHIDO-KAI KENKYUKAI, an association of schools dedicated to improving standards in traditional Japanese budo and inthe development of the TAKESHIN SOGO BUDO system of martial arts in particular. We have designed these pages to help explain something about our association, our application process and the benefits derived from membership.

Unlike many federations that charge for the privilege of using their name, we are interested in enrolling those who want to learn what we have to teach (The TAKESHIN MARTIAL ARTS) or be guided by our rank requirements in similar systems. There is no need to change completely to the TAKESHIN system, nor to resign other affiliations, but we feel strongly that members should join for the purposes of learning from their relationship with us and to actively pursue budo excellence using our standards as guides.

We have a three step application process to insure that each inquiring instructor has full understanding of BUSHIDO-KAI KENKYUKAI so that no one feels committed to membership before being confident of the decision. Our membership is reserved for instructors with active schools or for individual instructors previously enrolled with us who are temporarily without a school.

If, after reading this information, you have any questions or if you would like to visit BUSHIDO-KAI HOMBU DOJO, please feel free to contact us, Monday through Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 7:00 or from 9:00–9:30; Saturdays from 2:00– 2:30 EST.

Yours in the spirit of increasing excellence in the martial arts,

Tony Annesi, Kaiso, BUSHIDO-KAI KENKYUKAI
