How Do I Apply?

First, let's make sure you are comfortable with our structure, our instruction, and our standards. We suggest you send for our instructors' handbook then make an appointment to visit BUSHIDO-KAI HOMBU DOJO and train there for a mat fee or arrange to have Shihan Annesi visit your school (in this case, you will have to pay expenses but no instructional fee). This will ensure that you like Shihan Annesi's method of instruction and the material he has to offer. You may make this appointment either before or after enrolling.

Our three step enrollment process:

1. Send $25 for a copy of our INSTRUCTOR'S HANDBOOK which will cover rules, regulations, fees, benefits, basic rank requirements, etc. An application will be enclosed. This $25 will be subtracted from your one time application fee of $250. This fee goes to supplying you with educational material you will need as an instructor. Precisely what material you will receive depends on your chosen division. This is explained in the manual. The fee is refundable in whole or in part if you decide within the first year that BUSHIDO-KAI KENKYUKAI is not for you.
2. Fill out and mail the application if you approve of the manual material. If you have any questions call us.
3. Return student registration form(s) with the appropriate yearly dues (pro-rated for the first year of membership) within one month.

All memberships are on a "provisional" basis initially so that we can spend the first 6 months getting to know each other.
