"BE YOUR OWN HERO"
is our special kids' program
At our main school, the Bushido-kai Hombu Dojo, we emphasize a curriculum of innovative traditionalism in the martial arts. Kids attend one or two days per week (depending on available classes). We guarantee exceptional quality to our students. In short, we provide higher education to the traditional martial artist (even when that martial artist is a child.)

You have come this far. BUSHIDO-KAI is your next step. At BUSHIDO-KAI, not only do we make sure our students earn their ranks but we simultaneously teach advanced black belt level concepts to even the most basic student. The result is that our Be Your Own Hero© training method produces students ready for advancement in their art and mastery of themselves. Your child can be one of them.
Our philosophy is simple:
- small, manageable classes
- always let parents watch any class
- give kids good solid martial arts without giving away ranks
- allow them to EARN their achievements so they can feel good about themselves
- discuss and/or practice situational self-defense and bully defense so that kids are prepared.
