A Private In-house Art

After several decades of studying traditonal martial arts, Shihan-renshi Tony Annesi (Takeshin Sogo Budo) simultaneously defends the depth and variety of those studies and sees the aspects of self-defense they do not address.  For this reason he draws upon esoteric aspects and unique interpretations of the traditonal arts to create the integrated study of Takeshin Seiken Budo.

Kick, Lock & Shock SEIKEN BUDO
Kempo meets Hapkido

3 DVDs, 4.25 hours

At SEIKEN BUDO's nidan (2nd degree) level, the practitioners uses X- and Scissors- receptions and follows them with kicks and leg entangles. This is an extension of shodan work (see the introductory Secrets of Seiken Budo) that is based on Shihan Albert C. Church's Shorinji Tetsu Ken Ryu,
a systematically taught overview where large, powerful motions gradually give way tomat grappling
and still manage to pave the way for smaller, more sublte standing techniques.
